- Bounce House Rules
Jumpers (children) must be supervised at all times.
Bounce Houses must be anchored by either sandbags or spikes at all four corners.
Blowers must be clear at all times, do not play by blowers.
The bounce houses must be deflated during inclement weather: high winds, rain, lightening, or if the temperate drops.
To avoid neck and back injuries flips or rough playing is not allowed.
Keep size groups compatible to avoid injuries.
Do not climb or pull on side netting.
Socks must be worn at all times, No shoes.
Keep sharp objects out and away from bounce houses.
No food, drinks, candy or gum in bounce houses.
Absolutely NO Silly String in or around bounce houses.
Eyeglasses and jewelry must be taken off when jumping.
No pets in or around bounce houses.
Do not relocate the bounce houses from where they were installed, our set-up crew our trained professionals.
Special Instructions: The bounce houses/equipment are reliable. Should the bounce house/equipment begin to deflate (1) the motor may have stopped, in which case, check the cord connection at the outlet near the motor, and remember to keep only the extension at the outlet (stronger outlets are in the kitchen and laundry room.) (2) If the motor is continuing to run, check the air intake on the side of the motor for blockage, and check the tubes at the back of the bounce house unit for snugness; re-tie if necessary. (3) If you cannot detect the problem call JBJumps at 314-270-2146.*Children’s safety depends on upon you. Your personal supervision is absolutely required.
- Payment Procedures
JBJumps accepts cash and credit cards.
A Deposit of $50.00 is required for the first unit and $25.00 per every additional unit unless other arrangements have been made in advance. ~A Deposit is required to hold the date of your event and guarantee your bounce house.
No checks will be accepted when scheduled event is less than 7 days from making payment.
The remaining balance is due at the time of setup unless other arrangements have been made and approved by JBJumps.
Refunds: There are limitations to refunds…
The lessee will generally not receive a refund unless Lessee cancels the rental agreement 10 days prior to the scheduled date. (See Inclement Weather Policy). JBJumps will work to reschedule the rental with the Lessee.
- Equipment Agreement
Location of equipment, while the equipment is in Lessee’s possessions, Lessee agrees that the equipment shall remain at the same location indicated as the event location that JBJumps sets up equipment during delivery to Lessee.
Lessee agrees that, in the event the equipment is damaged, lost or stolen while in the possessions of Lessee, Lessee will pay JBJumps the cost of repairing or replacing the equipment as well as any other losses incurred. The minimum cost per inflatable item is $2,000.00 up to items costing $10,000.00.
Do not water your lawn 24 hours prior to delivery.
Do not allow any food, drinks, candy or gum, Silly String, shoes, sharp objects, or pets in or near the Equipment, these items will cause severe damage to vinyl surfaces.
Do not use water hoses on or in the inflatable units, this will damage seams.
Lessee agrees to keep the inflatable bounce houses in the same condition as when received. Generators cost range of $1,000.00 to $5,000.00 and Lessee assumes responsibility and proper care using ONLY regular unleaded gas.
- Inclement Weather Policy
* If inclement weather occurs on the date of your event and you cancel our services prior to delivery, you have one year to use your Deposit. This call must be made before JBJumps is in route, typically 90mins. prior to your set-up time, 9am is when we arrive in the office unless we have an early set-up scheduled, in that case we will be in the office at 8am.
* Our set-up crew will arrive typically 30 minutes to an hour prior to your scheduled event. When they arrive, if you decide to cancel due to inclement weather, you will not be charged the remaining balance but will lose the $50 Deposit.
* Once JB Jumps has arrived and set-up the inflatable(s), no refunds or reschedules will be given. NO Exceptions.
- Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability Agreement
1. Acknowledgment of Risks:
I acknowledge that some, but not all, of the risks of playing on or in inflatable devices include:
• Rough play, collision with other participants;
• Failure to follow safety guidelines;
• Climbing or Jumping from sliding surfaces;
• Improper contact with electrical fans;
• Electrical failure resulting in deflation of the unit;
• Improper installation of inflatable devices;
• Inclement Weather, Lightning, high wind conditions, rain, or low temperatures.
(Homeowners’, Tenant, or other Liability Insurance) I acknowledge that I have adequate homeowners’ insurance, tenant insurance, or other liability insurance to cover any bodily injury or property damage which might occur to myself, my guests, or my invitees from the use of the unit I am renting or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself.
3. Express Assumption of Risk and Responsibility:
I understand and acknowledge that I am responsible for the supervision of the inflatable devices for which I am renting and that the operation of such devices, bear certain known risks and un-anticipated risk that could result in injury. I assume full responsibility for the children and all other jumpers for whom I am responsible for including any/all guests at my event for any bodily injury or accident and loss of personal property and expenses thereof as a result of any accident that may occur.
In consideration of the services and / or property provided, I, for myself and any children whom I am responsible for, do hereby release JBJumps, its principals, directors, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from any liability and waive any claim for damages arising from any cause whatsoever (except that which is gross negligence). I further agree to reimburse you for all attorneys’ fees and costs should I bring legal action against you and lose.
5. Entire Agreement:
I understand that this is the entire agreement between myself and JBJumps its agents or employees, and that it cannot be modified or changed in any way by the representations or statements of any employee of JBJumps or me.
- Waiver of Liability
JBJumps features age appropriate entertainment that children from toddlers to teens will love. We provide a safe environment for kids to enjoy at your special occasion. Our goal is to provide a fun, memorable, and safe experience for you, your family, and party guests. JBJumps set-up is key when having fun in our large bouncers and assumes NO RESPONSIBILITIES for any injury of the participants that may take place at your function. Below you find a consent waiving release of any and all responsibility or liability to JBJumps.I, ____________________________________ have read and understand the Waiver of Liability, JBJumps Policies, and Rental Agreement Contract provided by JBJumps. Any/All injuries that may occur will be the sole responsibility of me, the property owner, and/or the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
Review with Customer after set-up:
_____ I have been shown how inflatable is secured.
_____ I have been shown how to turn on/off blower.
_____ I have been instructed that there is to be NO playing near blowers, they must be clear at all times.
_____ In the event of high winds or storms, I have been instructed to get all participants off the unit and unplug the motor and extension cord from the power outlet. The maximum winds that this unit will allow is up to and not over 15 mph per stated written instructions listed on the unit itself.
_____ I have been instructed to not allow any horseplay, flips, wrestling or any other unsafe activities both in and around inflatable.
_____ I have been advised of the following…

No pets in or around the inflatable unit(s).
_____ The SILLY STRING POLICY: Silly String is like super glue when applied to inflatable. Our Silly String policy is simple. If we have to clean Silly String off of the inflatable there will be a $50.00 charge. Silly String cleaning is actually a medium repair expense to an inflatable. The charge will be applied to the credit card on file or cash payment at time of inflatable pick-up.
_____ I understand that a responsible adult (18 years old & up) operators must be provided to watch the inflatable at all times.
_____ I have been advised that children of the same size or age group only may use the unit(s) at any given time, no adults.
_____ I agree to remove any person from the inflatable who is violating posted rules of operation.
_____ I have received both written and verbal instruction on the safe operation of inflatable and agree to follow all safety rules.
_____ I have been instructed not to relocate the inflatable after professionally installed by our set-up crew; not only could this cause bodily injury to those moving the inflatable and also any participates thereafter, but could also damage the inflatable itself.
_____ I understand that participants safety depends on me; and that responsible adult supervision is required at all times.
By signing below, you the Lessee understands the terms of the Rental Agreement:
Bounce House Rules, Payment Procedures, Equipment Agreement, Inclement Weather Policy, Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability Agreement, Waiver of Liability, and has been over the Client Checklist with JBJumps Set-Up Crew.
