If rain or bad weather is in the forecast, a JBJumps representative will call your contact phone number the day prior, and the morning of the day your event is scheduled. We will review our Inclement Weather Policy with you:
What do you consider ‘Inclement Weather?’
This includes high winds or winds over 15mph, rain, lightening, or temperatures that are below or expected to drop below 60’degrees throughout the day.
Inclement Weather Policy:
* If inclement weather occurs on the date of your event and you cancel our services prior to delivery, you have one year to use your Deposit. This call must be made before JBJumps is in route, typically 1-1/2 hours prior to your set-up time, 9am is when we arrive in the office unless we have an early set-up scheduled, in that case we will be in the office at 8am.
* Our set-up crew will arrive typically 30 minutes to an hour prior to your scheduled event. When they arrive, if you decide to cancel due to inclement weather, you will not be charged the remaining balance but will lose the $50 Deposit.
* Once JB Jumps has arrived and set-up the inflatable(s), no refunds or reschedules will be given. NO Exceptions.
>Hazardous Pickup Charge: Rain only, this does NOT pertain to storms, chance of storms, or winds above 15mph!
If the day of your party arrives and the weather forecast is predicting unfavorable weather throughout the day, a JBJumps representative will call the day prior and that morning also to reschedule your bounce house reservation. If you insist on continuing with the bounce house rental reservation, after our JBJumps staff has strongly advised against setting up, a $50 Hazardous Pickup Charge will be added at the time of pickup.
Because the bounce houses start off weighing hundreds of pounds, when they become wet they hold in that water until dried out and can weigh upwards to 700lbs. and extra staff is needed to manage that extra weight during pickup. The houses become hard to maneuver are could cause damage to your yard during the pickup as we require a dolly to haul them back to our truck. Nobody wants to be out during rain showers or a heavy downpour, it is an extremely dangerous situation for every, especially our employees.
